Why can't I see any downtime reasons when I'm running slow?

Reasons typically appear on the console for unplanned stops, but you may need to configure them separately to have them appear for Run Slow events too. Check the Reason List in Fusion Manager if you can't add reasons against Run Slow events.

Creating a select list of Run Slow reasons

If you only want a small list of reasons to appear for Run Slow events (rather than your whole reason tree):

Step 1 — Open the reason

Expand the reason you want to add to Run Slow events.

Step 2 — Add the Run Slow group

Add Run Slow as a Group, and click OK.

Step 3 — Save

Save your changes.

Adding a bulk list of reasons to Run Slow events

If you want to show all your reasons for Run Slow, or add several at once:

Step 1 — Open Import/Export

Click Import/Export.

Step 2 — Export the Reason List

Click Export to download a CSV of all your reasons.

Step 3 — Edit the CSV

Open the downloaded CSV in Excel. Under the Span Group column, add runSlow to any reason you want to appear for Run Slow events, then copy this down to the rest of your list as needed.

Step 4 — Save the CSV

Save your changes in Excel.

Step 5 — Choose the file in Fusion Manager

Go back to Fusion Manager and select the edited Reason List CSV.

Step 6 — Import

Import the file back into Fusion Manager.

Step 7 — Save

Save your changes.
