What is the Challenge ETA and how is it calculated?

The Challenge ETA displayed on the console provides operators a target timeframe for completing their jobs, based on historical performance. This is to help improve efficiency and productivity by giving them a specific target.

The Challenge ETA is calculated based on the following parameters:

  1. Time period - Looks at jobs in the past 6 months.
  2. Number of jobs - Analyses the last 10 best jobs. It should be noted here that the Challenge ETA is not SKU specific i.e. it does not look at the best 10 jobs for a specific SKU but rather the best 10 jobs out of all jobs runs, irrespective of SKU.
    1. In order to generate a Challenge ETA that is targeted toward a group of SKUs, a metadata field called 'targetGroup' can be created.
    2. This way each SKU can be allocated into a ' targetGroup' (e.g. 6pk, 12pk etc) and the Challenge ETA can be specific to the  'targetGroup' of a SKU.
    3. This requires an additional column within the products list (as seen below)
  3. Minimum job count - The default is to only look at jobs with a minimum 1000 counts, to ensure jobs that are too short are not included.
