OFS Version 12.8 Release Notes

OFS Version 12.8 is here, delivering a major expansion to our global capabilities and significant refinements to the user experience.

This release focuses on accessibility and localization, introducing a full suite of European language options and expanded global SMS support. Alongside these global improvements, we have refined the Mayvn AI experience to be more intuitive, context-aware, and visually streamlined.

🌍 Going Global: European Expansion & SMS

We are thrilled to announce a major expansion of our localization capabilities. We're launching and improving OFS translation into the languages of Europe over the next few weeks - contact your OFS representatives to discuss when your specific language will be available and how to provide feedback on our translations.

💬 Global SMS Alerting

We have overhauled our SMS notification system to better support our global user base.

  • Expanded Reach: We have significantly increased our coverage, now supporting reliable SMS alerts in 40+ countries across Europe, North America, and Oceania.
  • Easier Setup: The phone number input interface has been upgraded with a user-friendly country code selector and improved format validation, ensuring your alerts always reach the right person.

🤖 Enhanced Mayvn Experience

We have synchronized Mayvn’s internal clock with your local time. Now, when you ask questions like "What happened yesterday?" or "Show me the last shift," Mayvn is more aware of your location and timezone, ensuring Mayvn queries the right data more of the time..

Smoother Conversations

We have refined the chat interface to reduce friction and visual noise:

  • Auto-Scroll: When you submit a new query to Mayvn, the interface now automatically scrolls to your message, keeping the conversation fluid.
  • Reduced Clutter: We’ve cleaned up the chat visuals, reducing noise and visual clutter.

🛠️ Usability Improvements

Clearer Charts & Data

  • Chart Legends: We have improved how Mayvn handles charts with high data density. Mayvn now optimizes the layout to prevent chart elements from overlapping the chart, ensuring the chart remains readable even when tracking a large number of items.
  • Line Picker Accuracy: Mayvn's line selection tool now excludes template files, displaying only functional production lines.

Fusion Manager Workflow

  • Better Workflow Management: For administrators managing complex workflows on smaller screens (e.g., laptops), the Workflow State Selector is now fully scrollable, making it much easier to select and manage states without display issues.

⚙️ Performance & Stability

Infrastructure Upgrades - Behind the scenes, v12.8 includes continued updates to our core infrastructure, including enhanced security configurations, ensuring your data remains secure and highly available.
