OFS v12 Release Summary

This article consolidates the OFS v12 release series (v12.0 through v12.9) into a single summary. New customers and upgrades target the latest OFS release.

At a glance

OFS v12 is the release series where Mayvn AI moved from beta to the centre of the product. Across ten updates we introduced Mayvn into Analytics, brought it onto the Operator Console, gave it graphing and Flow-data integration, opened up Flow-form authoring through natural language, and rolled out full European language support. Alongside Mayvn, v12 delivered the Daily Loss Report, the Daily Report V2 and Monday Report, line-level costing, and a global SMS notification system covering 40+ countries.

Highlights across the series:

  • Mayvn AI — introduced in v12.0 (beta), launched in v12.2, brought to the Console in v12.5, unified across Analytics and Console in v12.6, and extended into Flow-form authoring in v12.9
  • Mayvn graphing (v12.3) and OFS Flow data integration (v12.3) — visualise and interrogate quality and performance data together
  • Daily Loss Report (v12.0) and Daily Report V2 + Monday Report (v12.3) — richer, line-costed insights
  • Mayvn on Console (v12.5) — a real-time collaborative AI assistant on the line
  • Full EU-24 language support — rolled out across v12.5 (Portuguese), v12.8 (first wave of European languages), and v12.9 (remaining nine)
  • Global SMS alerting (v12.8) — 40+ countries with country-code selector and validation
  • Mayvn-powered Flow Form Authoring (v12.9) — natural-language and paper-to-digital form creation

New Features

Daily Loss Report (v12.0). New report accessible via Analytics, with a sign-up form and initial integration. Designed to give a clear daily view of where time is being lost on each line.

OFS-AI Beta (v12.0). Initial introduction of conversational AI for data analysis. Released as a beta / demonstration in v12.0; would land in earnest as Mayvn AI in v12.2.

Calculation Fields enabled by default (v12.0). The Calculation Field type, introduced in the v11 series, is now on by default for all customers.

OFS-GO counter mode setting (v12.0). New line-level setting to configure the default counter mode (Linked / Unlinked) in OFS-GO.

Mayvn AI launches (v12.2). Mayvn moves from beta into a first-class part of OFS Analytics — a generative-AI assistant embedded directly in the Analytics environment, with a dedicated sidebar and a chat interface. Ask questions in plain English like "What were the top 3 downtime reasons for Line 2 last week?" and get clear, contextual answers. Includes an introductory tour with prompt suggestions, automatic conversation naming/listing/deletion, respect for existing permissions and feature toggles, internationalisation support, and a modular 'tools' framework (starting with a user line picker).

Mayvn — tailor-made graphing (v12.3). Mayvn can now generate visualisations on demand. Describe what you want to see and how (e.g. "Show me OEE as a trend line for the past month") and Mayvn produces the chart inline. Supports a wide range of graph types — bar (stacked, horizontal, vertical, grouped), line (X/Y, trend), bubble, doughnut, pie, polar, radar, scatter, area, plus box and violin plots. Charts are composable, fully interactive (toggle datasets, zoom, pan, adjust axes live) and refinable through conversation ("add trend lines," "group by machine," "split by shift").

Mayvn — OFS Flow data integration (v12.3). Mayvn can now access and analyse OFS Flow data via newly-introduced Flow tools. Ask questions about check completions, look at quality trends, or investigate correlations between Flow inputs and production outcomes — e.g. "Graph cap torque vs downtime over the last month." Quality checks can now be analysed alongside operational performance metrics in a single conversation.

Daily Report V2 (v12.3). Released April 2025. The overhauled daily report provides richer context and clearer insights into performance against projections. Includes a 7-day OEE snapshot (highest and lowest values called out), an enhanced Time Loss Chart visualising lost-time costs over the last four weeks against targets and predictions, line-level costing (the most highly-requested change — configure $/hr per line instead of using a single value per report), performance against yesterday's prediction alongside three new expressions of trending metrics, new data-quality warnings flagging poor-quality information, and a refreshed inbox experience with a headline insight in the email notification.

Monday Report (v12.3). A new strategic weekly review delivered every Monday. Summarises the previous week's performance and shares projections for the week ahead. (Daily reports had been available since November 2024; v12.3 is the major v2 overhaul.)

Mayvn on Console — MoC (v12.5). Mayvn embedded directly into the OFS-X Operator Console as a live, shared conversation panel — moving from a personal analysis tool to a real-time collaborative assistant for the entire line. A new "Hero Button" on the Console toggles a window where the whole team can interact with Mayvn; questions and AI responses are visible to everyone on the line in real time. Conversations are linked to a shift and saved to the OFS database, creating a persistent, searchable log that isn't lost on a browser reload. Powered by a new high-performance backend service that uses Server-Sent Events (SSE) to keep all connected Consoles in sync.

Interactive Mayvn on the homepage (v12.5). The main OFS menu now hosts an interactive Mayvn query box — ask a question on the homepage and be taken straight to the Mayvn analytics experience with the answer.

Full Portuguese language support (v12.5). The OFS Console is now fully available in Portuguese. All user-facing labels and text have been translated. Users can enable Portuguese via URL parameter or have an administrator set it as their default language in Fusion-Manager.

Mayvn chart exports (v12.6). One-click export of Mayvn-generated charts as images — drop them into presentations, reports and emails.

Mayvn replies in the OFS Console (v12.6). Reply directly to messages within the Mayvn on Console chat interface to continue a thread without interruption.

Mayvn copy-to-clipboard (v12.6). A new copy button on every conversation message, both in Analytics and on the Console.

Mayvn — "Which OFS Line?" interaction (v12.6). Mayvn is now more likely to guide you when it needs more information, through a structured Q&A experience.

European language rollout — first wave (v12.8). OFS translation into European languages launching and improving over the weeks following v12.8. Contact your OFS representative to discuss when your specific language will be available and how to provide translation feedback.

Mayvn — timezone awareness (v12.8). Mayvn's internal clock is now synchronised with the user's local time. Questions like "What happened yesterday?" or "Show me the last shift" now query the right data more of the time.

Mayvn-powered Flow Form authoring — Build with Mayvn (v12.9). Mayvn is now available directly inside the Flow Form editor. Configuration authors use natural language to get intelligent suggestions and assistance while building forms — cutting setup time on complex operational workflows.

Mayvn-powered Flow Form authoring — Paper-to-digital conversion (v12.9). Upload an existing form as a PDF or image and Mayvn interprets the content and converts it into a draft Flow Form, saving significant manual setup when migrating from paper.

Mayvn-powered Flow Form authoring — Natural-language editing (v12.9). Once a form is drafted, ask Mayvn to make changes conversationally. Mayvn retains the context of the form on screen.

Complete Flow Form exports with embedded images (v12.9). A highly-requested feature: when you export Flow Forms containing image fields, those images are now embedded directly in the PDF. Complete form data, including visual evidence, can be shared with external parties without manual screenshot attachments.

Full EU-24 language support (v12.9). OFS now supports the complete EU-24 language set. v12.9 adds the remaining nine official EU languages on top of the v12.8 first wave: Bulgarian, Croatian, Estonian, Irish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Slovak, and Slovenian.

Pinned forms in the Flow App (v12.9). Pin your most frequently used forms to the top of the form list so high-priority forms are always immediately accessible without scrolling.
