# How to order data in ascending or descending order in Analytics
## You can sort any Analytics report by clicking a column heading, toggling between ascending and descending order.
#### **Step 1 — Open a report**
Open **Analytics** and select a report from **Summary Reports**.
#### **Step 2 — Sort ascending**
Click the column heading you want to sort by. An upward arrow shows the data is in ascending order.

#### **Step 3 — Sort descending**
Click the same column heading again. A downward arrow shows the data is in descending order.
