How to manually finalise counts on the Packaging Dashboard?
The Packaging Dashboard gives the packing end of the line its own screen, showing what has been produced, what is left to pack, and a button to finalise each job.
OFS can count two jobs at once — one being made while another is being packed. That suits processes with a long lag between the two, like proving and baking, firing pottery, or product that has to freeze before it is packed.
The Packaging Dashboard is the screen for the people at the packing end. It shows the order quantity, the number of units produced, and the total packed.
This is an opt-in interface, offered to customers already using manual finalisation. If you are finalising counts from the Console instead, see How to manually finalise counts on the Console.
Finalising Counts on the Packaging Dashboard
Step 1 — Open the Packaging Dashboard

Replace customer with your organisation's name.
Step 2 — Select the line

Step 3 — Press Finished once the job is packed
When the job is complete and everything has been packed, press Finished on that job.
Upcoming jobs are listed along the bottom of the screen.
Step 4 — Confirm, then press Finalise
Getting the timing right
Finalise when the last unit of that job has actually been packed. Finalise late and the next job's units are credited to this one; finalise early and this job's last units are credited to the next. Either way both jobs end up with wrong counts, and both jobs' quality figures and OEE go with them.
