# How to create an Out of Spec Flow report?
## OFS-Flow can raise a form into an "Out of Spec" or "Failed" workstate. This article shows you how to build a Flow Manager report that surfaces those forms on their own, so you can review them without digging through everything else.
#### **Step 1 — Open Flow Manager**
In **Analytics**, open the **Flow Manager** report.
#### **Step 2 — Choose your date range**
Click **Change Selection** and set the date range you want to report on.
#### **Step 3 — Filter to a specific form (optional)**
If this report is for one form, filter on **Name**.
A column must be added via **Settings** before you can filter on it — the filter list only offers columns already in your report.
#### **Step 4 — Filter to the Out of Spec or Failed workstate**
Filter on **Workstate**, and choose **Out of Spec** or **Failed** (or whichever workstate your workflow uses for this).
#### **Step 5 — Add the columns you need**
In **Settings**, add whichever form fields and other columns are relevant to reviewing these forms.
#### **Step 6 — Create a shareable link**
Use the **Share** button to create a link to this exact report view.
**Note:** this link is a server-stored bookmark, not a self-contained URL — it can't be hand-edited, and it depends on the bookmark continuing to exist on the server. Access isn't scoped to a particular user, so don't tell a customer or colleague the link is private.
#### **Step 7 — Use the link**
Bookmark the link in your browser, or add it to the **Alert Message** of any secondary alert attached to the Failed workstate, so the people who get notified can jump straight to this view. If your date range used a relative mode (e.g. "last 7 days") rather than fixed dates, the shared link keeps that relative window — so it stays a rolling view of recent Out of Spec forms rather than freezing to the dates you had selected when you created it.
