This article will show you how to add additional metadata to products via Fusion Manager. The editable field function allows operators to easily enter data into an editable field.
Updating the Product List
Step 1 - From Fusion Manager, go to “Products”.
Step 2 - Tick the line you want to add an editable field to and then click the pencil icon to edit.
Step 3 - Click "Custom Product List Data" and "Add Variable".
Step 4 - Enter the Name of the editable field.
Tip: We always recommend using 'camel case' to name your custom metadata. The first letter of the first word must be lowercase and the first letter of the second word must be capitalised and so on. For example if you want a metadata to show up as "Units Per Carton" you would name the metadata "unitsPerCarton".
Step 5 - If the data is editable, ensure "Client Editable" is toggled on, then click "Update".
Step 6 - Before saving changes, click the Import & Export Icon within the products list.
Step 7 - Click "Import".
Step 8 - Click "Save" to save changes.
This will now be present in the JOB screen within the OFS Console.
Note: Changes will only display once a new job has started, not on the current job when the changes were made.
