# How to change the Rated Speed default in the product list?
## This covers changing the default Rated Speed for a product list, so every new product you add starts with the right value already filled in.
OFS sets a default Rated Speed for each product list, which you can change at any time — useful if most SKUs on a line run at a similar, consistent speed.
#### **Step 1 — Open Products**
Navigate to **Fusion Manager**, then **Products**.
#### **Step 2 — Edit the product list**
Tick the product list you want to update, for example `Filling Line`, then click the pencil icon.
#### **Step 3 — Change the default Rated Speed**
Update the default Rated Speed value, for example from `1200` to `45`.
#### **Step 4 — Save your changes**
Click **Update**.
New products you add to this list will now default to the Rated Speed you set.
