How to allocate downtime in OFS?

When the production line stops, operators can easily assign a downtime reason on the OFS Console.

Allocate a reason during an unplanned downtime

Step 1 - The selection box will appear once the line goes into a downtime.

Note: You can assign downtime reason for the following machine states: 

Unplanned

Setup

Note - The reason categories for each of these machine states can be changed in Fusion Manager. 

Step 2 - Select the Category. 

Step 3 - Select the Reason.

Step 4 - Click Set Reason.

Step 5 (optional) - Enter a comment.

• Provides operators the platform to be heard and contribute to the overall manufacturing operations by providing beneficial and valuable feedback.
  E.g. The machine has broken down for the 5th time today. 

• Comments can be made at any time.

What if the line goes into a running state? 

Step 1 - Click ‘View Unallocated Events’.

Step 2 - Select the event you’d like to allocate a reason to.

Step 3 - Click ‘Add Reason’.

Step 4 - Select the Category.

Step 5 - Select the Reason.

Step 6 - Click ‘Set Reason’.
