# How to add or change Console operators?
## Keeping your console operators up to date makes sure only the right names show up on the OFS console shift picker.
#### **Step 1 — Open Console Operators**
From the left menu, select **Users & Operators**, then click the **Console Operators** tab.
#### **Step 2 — Add a new operator**
Click **New Operator** and enter a name. Adding a title is optional.
Click **Save** to create the operator.
#### **Step 3 — Open Operators Assignment**
Click the **Operators Assignment** tab.

#### **Step 4 — Assign an operator to a line**
Tick the checkbox next to the operator you want to assign, then click the tick in the column header of the line you want to assign them to. Click **Save** to confirm.
#### **Step 5 — Unassign an operator from a line**
Tick the checkbox next to the operator, then click the cross (X) in the column header of the line you want to remove them from. Click **Save** to confirm.

#### **Deleting operators**
Tick the checkbox next to the operator's name (you can select more than one), then click the delete icon.
