You can easily add new console operators to a specific line or make modifications to the ones that are already assigned by accessing Fusion Manager to make the necessary changes.
Making changes to the console operators is important to ensure that only relevant operator names are displayed on the OFS console (as seen below). For a video summary on configuring operators, click here.
Fusion Manager
Step 1 - From the left menu pane, select ‘Users and Operators’ and click the ‘Console Operators’ tab.
Step 2 - Adding & Deleting Operators
Step 3. To add new operators click on the ‘New Operator’ button and provide a name.
NOTE: Adding a title alongside the name of the operator is completely optional and up to you.
Step 4 - To confirm your changes, click on ‘Save’.
Step 5 - To delete operators, select the checkbox next to the operator’s name (you can select multiple operators) and click on the delete icon.
Step 6 - Click on the Operators Assignment tab.
Step 7 - To assign operators, select the check-box of the newly created operator(s), and click on the ‘tick’ to assign them to the appropriate line. Confirm your changes by clicking on ‘Save’.
Step 8 - To unassign operators from the line, select the check-box of the desired operator(s), and click on the ‘cross’ (X) on the relevant lines. Confirm your changes by clicking on ‘Save’.
