Automated form validation has been introduced for Alerts raised via API and injected with user data.
Within OFS v11.4, the capability for Flow integrations to popuate OFS Flow Forms via API was added to OFS Flow. Forms and data could be submitted directly to OFS Flow without Operator intervention from equipment like weighscales.
Following user feedback, it was identified that forms raised via API lacked the ability to be validated with OFS Flow's colour, message, and workstate validation features until they had been interacted with by an end user.
OFS v11.5 introduces the capability within our software for validation to be automated when forms are raised via API, allowing these forms to be validated at runtime without user interaction.
This change does not have any impact on users of OFS Flow who are not using API-injected forms with field validation.
