# Can I track changes to OFS-Flow Data?
## Explains how to access the Audit Log for an OFS-Flow form, and what it records.
Your manufacturing operations likely record critical quality information in **OFS-Flow**. To build a chain of custody that holds up with internal Quality teams and customer auditors, OFS-Flow automatically captures an audit log for every digital quality record.
### **Finding the Audit Log**
Find the record in your **Flow Manager** report (in OFS Analytics), highlight the alert, and select **Audit Log**
#### **Reading the Audit Log**
The Audit Log viewer has two parts:
- The left side lists every audit event for the form, as a selectable timestamp and user identity.
- The right side shows the details of whichever event is selected.
For example, the log might show that user `ofsxadmin` updated the values of three fields and saved the form's workstate to **Pending** at 12:02pm on 21 May 2024.
#### **What gets logged**
Audit logs are generated server-side from the submitted data, so they can't be manipulated, and are write-once — they can't be changed after saving.
Events that result in data changes are written to the audit log:
- Workstate changes
- Data changes
- Form creation and expiry
Viewing or accessing data isn't logged in the Audit Log — this includes PDF generation and CSV export, which are captured by other logging mechanisms instead.
